Hello,
My name is Juman. I was born and raised in Melbourne Australia. My Mother is Turkish / Jordanian, and my father is from Palestine. I speak broken Arabic and have just started learning to speak Turkish. I am a singer songwriter and music producer playing mainly in music festivals and events in Australia, and I also work for a non for proffit organisation called Desert Pea Media, working with young indigenous Australians by facilitating and managing music programs. I am very passionate about both my careers and feel very grateful to be living the life that I do!

I'm a very accepting and generally a joyful person who is always honest about how I feel. Laugher is a very important antidote to my life, and I'm always down for a spontaneouse adventure into the unknown!
I really enjoy traveling solo. I find I am more receptive and open to magical opportunities, new experiences and spontaneous adventures! I love meeting new people from different walks of life whilst traveling, this is something I deeply treasure.
There is something quite magical about traveling alone that feeds the soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met a fellow female traveller the other day who was sharing her wonderful experiences with couch surfing throughout Turkey, and it greatly sparked my interest!
There is something very special about welcoming people into your home space. Open hearted hospitality is very embedded into my culture and is something I deeply appreciate and relate to. It is such a gift.
Couch surfing seems like a great way to have a more authentic experience whilst traveling, to see how people really live. It's also a wonderful opportunity to build beautiful connections with other people from around the world.
