About Me

I was born as the third (and last) son in Seville, Spain in 2001. My father is swiss and my mother is spanish, so I've grown up in a quite international atmosphere, as we use to go every summer to Switzerland to visit my grandmother. I just finished my degree in History and I'm right now working in a hotel in the middle of the Swiss Alps. After years of studies I decided to have a gap year, in order to explore new countries and cultures, as well as figuring out what my next step in my life will be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will spend this year travelling, so I think Couchsurfing is a good way to get in touch with a new country through their hosts, and also a smart way to save money, why not :)
I like the idea of going to the house of a person that lives in the country i'm visiting, as I think it's a perfect way to understand the culture and traditions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, it depends on the month, because I'm always changing: from techno with Fred Again, to rap with spanish singers or something more pop like Rosalia.
I love cinema and I like to talk about it. I've so many favourite films that it's impossible just to choose one. Interstellar, Cinema Paradiso, The Godfather or The Pianist would be some of my top tier.
I love reading and I use to read historical-themed books (obviously hahaha). Right now i'm reading some russian authors like Tolstoi or Dostoievski

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked for four days in Switzerland with my siblings, sleeping in tents in the middle of beautiful valleys. I've done an Erasmus in Bonn where I got to know amazing people (specially my girlfriend).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk about history and geopolitics. I love to cook so I guess I can teach some things

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to talk when I feel comfortable and I consider myself a happy and social person. I can offer curiosity for what you have to say and I think I'm able to talk about different topics, so i don't think long pauses and uncomfortable silences will take place (i hope!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Spain, Switzerland
