About Me

Hi there!

I'm Johannes from Germany.

When I finished high school, I went on a trip, hitchhiking one time around the globe in 400 days. I met so many awesome people who were spontaneously willing to help me and arguably made this journey possible.
I loved this spirit of helping each other without expecting anything in return and now want to give back.

So if you're traveling around in my area and need anything (housing, travel advice or something totally different), text me, I'll see what I can do.

See you soon :)

Looking forward to many unforgettable memories to be created!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get in touch with people from all over the world and learn about their culture, way of living and thinking and so on.
Also I think it's much more interesting to discover places with a local rather than just seeing the usual tourist stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked around the globe. With sailing boats, post trucks, firefighter cars, and of course tons of amazing private people and truck drivers.
Got invited several times for spontaneous couchsurfing.

Played at a medium sized musical (around 3000 viewers in total) in the orchestra and and also had a little appearence on stage.

Cycled to Lake Constance. Took me about a week full of pain as well as beautiful landscapes and experiences. It was totally worth it!
