Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like being surrounded by people, meeting new ones and making friends. I prefer low-cost traveling, backpacking and hitchhiking - to enjoy the adventure and also save some money.

Interests

One of my favourite hobbies are definitely hiking and hitchhiking. When I am standing next to the road with just backpack, guitar and a thumb up, I feel free. The amount of amazingly kind and interesting people I met while hitchhiking and the fact you never know what is gonna happen in few hours, where you gonna sleep and who will give you a ride doesn't make me stay home or just simply buy a train ticket. On the other hand, while hiking, mostly alone, the joy comes from the nature. From it's sounds and it's quiet, from panoramas all around and again, from the feeling of freedom.
