I'm Anna, a general medicine student in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Apart from my studies I try standing up from my desk full of books and just leaving the four walls surrounding me. I like going out: with my friends, to the nature, visiting new places in this big world and discovering as much as possible.

I think that traveling and the real discovering of a culture starts, when you listen to other peoples life stories, you are trying out local activities, dishes and visiting the real hidden gems of a place, and you can't do these things by your own. I believe that finding a local person and spending some time together, making connections helps everybody, not just for that few days, but for a lifetime.

Interessi

On basic weeks, as a medicine student, my days are pretty simple: i am studying a lot, yes, this university is so time consuming, and needs lots of focusing, but i love it. Of course, this doesn't mean that my life consists only in studying.
I love hanging out with my friends, casually drinking something with them and sharing stories from the past weeks.
I am a member of the hungarian scouting association, this means that we are meeting regulary as scouts, often go hiking in the near mountains and in summertime we organise scoutcamps.
I love doing sports, especially long distance running and skiing, being phisically active means so much to me.
I've been traveling a lot, since i was a little girl: with my family, friends, or with my boyfriend, it doesn't matter who am i traveling with, I am always interested in finding new places and seeing views I've never before.

Musica, film e libri

My music taste is very chaotic, from vibing to Enya's Orinoco Flow after a hard day to going to an Iron Maiden concert, I enjoy listening the classic, retro hits.
My favorite one of everything is definitely Harry Potter:)
But other books are: The Lord of the Flies, and also other classics.
I really do love movies, mostly the classical ones, maybe in the top are The Shawshank Redemption, Amelie and Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.
I want to mention some tv shows which earned some space in my everydays: The Office and Lost. (i do not watch tv shows often, but theese are special favorites)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Until now, my definite favorite experience was winning with 3 of my friends a "discovereu" interrail european ticket. We visited 8 countries and lots of cities within 20 days, only by train, we were so tired all the time because of the quantity of so many new things we saw and tried out, but the fact that we were just four youths in the big world, always makes me smile. Now it is a core memory.

Since I love getting to know more about a traditional cuisine, and learning some new words, I think that a mini-exchange of these or other cultural things is possible if we meet. Even discussing the everyday life of a new person could be enjoying:)

My friends say that I am friendly and courious, so I hope that you will see the same in me. I can offer great conversations about cultural differences, everyday topics, at home or at a coffe.Playing board games, cooking together or to each other something traditional also could be a fun experience. I can't wait to dicover a new person at a new place:)
