I'm a Puerto Rican and Peruvian woman born and raised in New Jersey, USA. I've lived in various places in the USA (NJ, Florida, Chicago,IL , and Los Angeles, CA). I'm a Psychotherapist and have worked with various non-profit organizations providing help to people with mental health and substance abuse problems. I also have my own private practice where I meet with clients virtually. I have a dog named Yoda who is an adorable schnoodle (mini schnauzer/poodle mix). I like to teach myself new things such as painting, crocheting, and rock climbing. I'm a curious person and love to learn new things whether its by practice or through other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up i've always seen traveling as a daunting, expensive, and an out of reach option. I would envy people who weren't afraid to jump from place to place and have amazing experiences. I've always been too cautious, timid and shy to live that type of life but now that I'm older and have had a few experiences myself, I have officially caught the travel bug and I can't get enough of it! I love meeting new people and experiencing things I never would have thought I would. I love hearing about other people's experiences and getting inspired and motivated to continue my own travel journey myself.
