About Me
Hello travellers!
I am Şemsi from Türkiye. I am an English teacher who is enthusiastic about travelling. I live in Kangal, Sivas which is famous for its healing fish - Fish-abundant Hot Springs. I love meeting new people, chit-chatting about their culture, experiences and making use of their wisdom. I am good at cooking, so if you're looking for a local experience, here I am! I've been to Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo so far. When I return home from a trip, I immediately start to plan where to go next :) If you have any questions, please fell free to ask.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I went to Sweden for the first time, I couldn't find any place to sleep, and that was literally the time Couchsurfing saved me. A couchsurfer welcome me to her home, and it was a great experience for me. Unfortunately, I had to delete that account for some reason. Anyway, I'm back in town! I would like to host travellers and make their trip in Kangal or Sivas easier and more enjoyable. Also, I want to see my destinations from a local perspective, and learn from them. That's why, I am here.
