About Me
Hello! My name is Khairul Rizal, but they often call me Rizal, and I'm very excited to join the Couchsurfing community. I'm a student living in Jakarta. I have a great interest in traveling, meeting new people, learning about cultures, and gaining unforgettable experiences.
The farthest place I've visited is North Maluku when I participated in a national student exchange program. After this experience, my love for culture, expanding friendships, and exploring beautiful places has grown even stronger. During my travels, I always strive to immerse myself in the local culture and interact with the locals. I believe that travel is the best way to broaden one's horizons and understand the diversity of our world.
Besides traveling, I'm also interested in diving, cooking and drawing also. I enjoy attending various events, trying new cuisines, and exploring nature. I love sharing my travel stories and listening to stories from others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I believe it's an incredible way to share experiences and expand my social circle. I want to get to know people from various cultural backgrounds, and I'm ready to be a respectful and considerate guest, adhering to your house rules.
Currently, I was visited Bali by join Volunteering program and get many friends in there, also I learn about culture, visiting waterfall, beach, temples it was really fun.
As a guest, I always respect privacy and house rules. I'm willing to help with household chores if needed, and I'm committed to cleanliness and tidiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can visit the Eastern regions of Indonesia and feel relieved because I can experience life there firsthand, unlike what most media portrays or even my parents' perception of Eastern people. In reality, they are very friendly, excited to meet outsiders, and caring.
