Hey ho. I'm Sascha and I'm 34 years old. One of the nicest compliments I've heard about myself in my life is that I'm enthusiastic about (almost) everything and appreciate the many aspects of life. This ability to be enthusiastic has taken me to many places. I have worked with children in youth centres and shelters, in bars and cafés as a cook, DJ and bartender, as a concert and exhibition organiser, event technician in theatres and concerts and have been making music myself for more than 15 years, which has brought me to many stages together with many people. As soon as a guitar is within reach, you will soon find it in my hands. I am currently studying art at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and can also be found there in many facets. But mainly in object art and installation. When travelling, I use the pen to express myself. I love to write.

I would be delighted if we could get to know each other, spend time together, exchange stories and make the world a little more like a big cosmopolitan village.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my trip with my mate through South America in his van, many of the best moments were the ones we spent together with other people in and around their places. We made new friends and gained new perspectives on the world faster than expected. Some of them will stay with me for life. I benefited greatly from others sharing their energy and passions with me and realised that my own inspired and made others happy. And we all love these win-win-win-win situations. I'd love more of them.

Art in all its facets. I want to be honest. I love nature. But art has often really knocked my socks off and inspired me. What people can do!
