Hi, we are Chester, Mari, and our cat Latoon, living in Seoul. Chester and Latoon are originally from South Korea, and Mari is from Chile. We are an international couple happy to welcome fellow travelers. Our home is humble but full of love and care.

Both of us have benefited from the Couchsurfing community, staying in different countries with kind and lovely hosts. For that reason, when possible, we open our home to give back to the community.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Chester:
During my previous travels, I met many people who welcomed me abroad. At that time, I decided that one day I would do the same. Now, I have a small guest room for people who are just like I was in the past.

Mari:
I was constantly traveling because of my job, so I didn’t have a place to host people before. Now that I have a home, I want to give back for the kindness I received! Also, I want to use this app to make local friends and have a better experience in the countries I visit. Sharing cultures, values, and experiences is the best way to travel.

Mari
My music taste is very wide. I love Gorillaz, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, REM, Jonny Cash, Oasis, Pink floyd, and more! Obviously also I enjoy latino music 👀

That was crazy things, because I was not good at English and German.
I just wanted experience various culture and that was great choice totally fit in my purpose.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Chester is an amazing cook! If you want, he can teach you how to cook some Korean dishes. Mari hates cooking, but she does it from time to time. If you're interested in Chilean food, she can show you some recipes, but she can't guarantee they'll taste good.

We speak English in our home, but Mari is learning Korean. You can practice with her and have study time together. Chester is a good teacher.
