About Me
Merhaba!
My name is Imran, born and raised in a small but colourful country of Malaysia, and a frequent traveler. I am relocating to Istanbul and will be here for the next two years to pursue my Master in Political Science and International Relations.
I’ve been in CS before and was quite active until the pandemic (Yes, the worst time for fellow sojourners). I forgot how to log in to my older account so here I am making a new one.
I am pretty casual, easy going and pretty curious about the mundane stuff in every cultures. Love to talk about world affairs, social issues, crazy travelling stories, and deep questions about life.
Happy to meet any passing traveler or local here in Istanbul to swap stories and advices!

Music, Movies, and Books
Not so much into music but i do enjoy Jazz. Books? Maybe, and just maybe, Das Kapital.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked as a political researcher earlier and I get the chance to interview all walks of life; political leaders, students, homeless people, etc. Maybe my most odd (wouldn’t call it amazing) encounter is when I get to interview a leader of a freedom fighter that are still actively involved in military war against their own state! The experience is surreal.
