Hi, I'm a 20 year old guy from the Czech Republic who just finished high school and plans to travel for a year.

I really like meeting new people and I am open to all kinds of activities. I've been running around outdoors since I was little and my love for nature has stayed with me ever since. Maan I love the mountains. I do some flips now and then, even though my orthopedist forbade me to do so;) I have been climbing for the last two years, both bouldering and lead, but I would describe myself more as a beginner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally I had planned to start studying medicine right after school, but my heart didn't allow me to do that, I felt the need to do something else, so this year I plan to meet as many people as possible and learn as many things as I can so that next year I can start studying where I really see my path.

Interests

I like good coffee, books, company. I feel best in the mountains, hiking/climbing in summer, snowboarding in the winter. I’m into cold exposure things, kinda feel like cold plunges saved my life. I like to move, stretch and work out, movement and an active life is important to me. I love music, I played piano, drums and guitar, I’m not pro in any of those, but I like to experiment with it:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Haha I listen to a lot of music, sometimes too much, I guess, but I can't say the genre, just not what's playing on the radio... I love reading, especially Japanese authors like Haruki Murakami, Yukio Mishima or Osamu Dazai

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say all the experiences I've had on my hitchhiking trips, so many different people I've met through it, and all of them so interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have quite a bit of experience with teaching, both teaching parkour and acrobatics as a parkour club leader and trampoline hall coach, but also as a German tutor. I'm happy to learn whatever you have to offer, and also very happy to offer you what I can.
