About Me

Hello! Welcome to my page. ☺️

I am a Colombian Engineer currently working and living in Houston, USA. I love traveling, meeting new people and exploring new places. While i love traveling and exploring new places whenever i am at home i’m a homeboy.

CS gives me the perfect excuse to go out and meet people in my home city!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to be in CS while i was in College and it was a great experience meeting people that were visiting town as well as finding a local expert while traveling.

The reason why i am on CS now is similar to the one at that time. It is a great tool to connect with locals and meet people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies a lot. So i cannot point to a specific genre. My most play artist on ‘23 was Troye Sivan.

Regarding movies i have kind of slowed down on movies to watch. But whenever i can, i love to look for Queer movies (I’m taking recommendations).

Books, these are my main distraction. My favorite genre is a combination of scifi and fantasy. I also love a soapy queer love story that draws me in. A list of the top 5 books i’ve read.

1. Aristotle and Dante. By Benjamin Sáenz
2. Babel. By R. F. Kuang
3. The Peripheral. By William Gybson
4. Darious the Great is not okay. By Adib Khorram
5. If an egyptian cannot speak english. By Noor Naga

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i’ve done in the last few is doing a trip around the world in three weeks! It was an amazing experience, but it was also tirying. The longest flight on the trip was about 14h so you can imagine how that went.

Feel free to ask me about it and anything else!

During my college years i did an euro trip on a budget for three months exclusively on eastern europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can i teach? Feel free to ask me fun words in Spanish. Or better yet how to find really cheap flights. I also love cooking, so ask me about my best dish yet.

Learn? Language exchange is always the go to. But it would be great if you can give me tips on the local or your home cuisine.

Share? A space to stay for a bit

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m going to go with cooking. I could prepare a killer meal if you let me borrow your kitchen.
