Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm Gizem, 20 years old. I study Political Science and International Relations at a university in Istanbul, and I stay in a dormitory during the school term. However, during breaks when there are no classes, I stay at my family home in Mersin. I love traveling, especially within the next 2-3 years, I aim to visit and explore all European countries. After that, I hope to visit other continents. I'm generally a very social person and enjoy making new friends. I particularly love making friends from different nationalities because I enjoy learning about their cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to Couchsurfing. My primary reason for being here is that I love meeting new people, sharing my country's culture with them, and at the same time, learning about their cultures. This cultural exchange and language learning make me very happy. Another important reason is that, honestly, I'm only 20 years old. Right now, I have plenty of energy for traveling, but I don't have enough budget to cover transportation, accommodation, and meals. Therefore, Couchsurfing is a amazing platform because it not only allows me to make new friends, engage in cultural exchanges, and create unforgettable memories but also helps travelers save on accommodation expenses.
