Hello everyone! I'm a new traveler, recently subscribed to couchsurfing for my Europe on-the-road journey by myself.

I'm a recently graduated Computer-engineer, but I have a large set of other interests (and skills) to share.

I'm somewhat shy, so I need my time to open up, but I always try my best to be kind and polite towards strangers.

If you give me a chance I might be a very pleasant and interesting guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first I thought I could sleep in hostels, but then I realized that the whole point of a lone journey is to discover something within myself while being open to the new. I could achieve this only by meeting local people from the places I went and being open-minded about local traditions.
I think that keeping the mind open is the secret of eternal youth. If we close our boundaries and stay where we know what is happening we begin to die.

Interests

I workout pretty seriously for powerlifting competitions, I used to play a high-intermidiate level chess, and I read a lot.
If you happen to stay close to me for a decent amount of time it's very likely that you'll watch me reading some weird German or Greek philosopher.
I like everything related to science, but I am also very open to non-scientific subjects such as music or cinema, but mostly books.

I am a cat lover.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosts could use my company. Even if I'm an introvert type of guy, when I'm comfortable I could enrich your days.
Moreover I'm very open to share my knowledge: I'm very good at math and sciences in general, and as I mentioned I have many other different interests.
I'm Italian, so if you're studying this language I'm available to talk with you and teach.
I love cats, so if you have one I'll be very glad to play with him/her, I think cats are often understimulated.
