Hello, my name is Matías. I was born in Querétaro, México, and since I was born, I’ve been living here. Starting on July 2024, I'll be taking a year abroad to explore South America and Asia. I'm deeply passionate about permaculture, bioarchitecture, and people and experiences that trasmit unwavering humanity.

The main reason behind my year abroad is to focus on architecture and education. I will major in architecture and pedagogy with the aim of aiding rural and indigenous communities in Mexico through community building, bio-construction (such as earth building), and education. My goal is to contribute to fostering a sustainable way of living in diverse areas.

Having not traveled extensively outside of Mexico, I'm enthusiastic about meeting new people in a natural and human way. This is why I've downloaded the app – to promote a humanitarian approach to traveling and create a warm-hearted, worldly home.

Hola, mi nombre es Matías. Nací en Querétaro, México y, llevo viviendo aquí desde que nací. A partir de julio de 2024, voy a tomar un año en el extranjero para explorar Sudamérica y Asia. Me apasiona la permacultura, la bioarquitectura, las letras, la sociología y las personas y experiencias con genuina esencia e intencionalidad.

La razón principal de mi año en el extranjero es centrarme en la arquitectura y la educación. Me especializaré en arquitectura y pedagogía con el objetivo de ayudar a las comunidades rurales e indígenas de México a través de la construcción comunitaria, la bioconstrucción (como la construcción con tierra) y la educación. Mi objetivo es contribuir a fomentar un modo de vida sostenible en diversas zonas.

Como no he viajado mucho fuera de México, me entusiasma la idea de conocer gente nueva de una manera natural y humana. Por eso he descargado la aplicación: para promover un enfoque humanitario de los viajes y crear un hogar cálido y mundano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Co-founded multidisciplinary summer courses for children and adults in my hometown. We fostered genuine interactions with local artists, providing hands-on learning experiences in a real studio, in contrast to ready-made summer courses or camps.
