Hi,

We are Xavi and Simona.
After backpacking through south east Asia we are heading down under on a work travel visa. We are a social, chatty, tidy, respectful, adventurous and easy going couple.
We really look forward to traveling through Australia and getting to know as many locals as possible and not have a basic tourist experience :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We have left Switzerland to move to Australia, with the Working Holiday Visa we can stay for a year.
We want to get the most out of our Aussie experience, we would love to meet as many locals as possible and hopefully get some insider tips for each location. And of course, to be honest, as we are in between jobs as the moment we are trying to avoid expensive hostel / hotel accommodation.

All kinds of music, depending on the occasion; love us some classic oldies (queen and fleetwood mac come at us), live acoustic jams and also up for a bit of techno.

Too many movies to even start, from classics to action to comedy to documentaries, we watch it all!

Books: The Alchemist, Shantaram, etc; oh and Simona is a sucker for fantasy!

During Covid we converted a Car into a Camper.
And now we quit our jobs and are moving to the other side of the world for a while.

We can teach: How to fix furniture (i’m a Carpenter) or how to rock climb! (We did pack our climbing shoes of course)

We’d love to learn: About you, your town and your culture! And the best coffee spots in your area!

We share: Stories, time and of course a meal we cook for you.
