Hello, my name is Davut Can Köse. I am 22 years old and currently studying tourism management in İzmir. At the moment, I am an Erasmus student in the enchanting city of Benevento, Italy. I love traveling, meeting new people, reading books, and tasting different flavors.
I consider myself to be patient and positive. People around me often say that I have a cheerful energy and that I am understanding towards others. These traits provide me with great advantages both in my personal relationships and in my professional life. I also enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy tasting new dishes. Through the Erasmus program, my interest in learning about different cultures has grown even more. Discovering new places and experiencing different lifestyles broaden my perspective and provide me with fresh insights. I truly love traveling and connecting with people. To fulfill this passion, I use Couchsurfing. This platform allows me to make new friends and deeply learn about the cultures of the places I visit, which is one of my biggest motivations. Couchsurfing not only provides me with accommodation but also gives me the opportunity to interact directly with locals and experience their lifestyles, traditions, and daily routines. Among the movies I love are "The Notebook," "Fight Club," "Shutter Island," and "The Shawshank Redemption." These films have deeply impacted me with their powerful stories and compelling characters. When it comes to music, I prefer listening to pop, rock 'n' roll, and jazz. These genres, with their energetic and emotional qualities, always resonate with my mood. As for books, my favorites include "Son Ada," "Animal Farm," "Serenad" and "My Sweet Orange Tree." These books inspire me with their profound narratives and thought-provoking themes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done is definitely participating in the Erasmus program. This experience not only gave me the opportunity to explore a new country and culture but also significantly contributed to my personal development. I met different people, made new friendships, and gained an international perspective. Erasmus allowed me to see the world from a broader viewpoint and get to know myself better.
