Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Hicham, a Moroccan guy from Casablanca. I was born in Libya and spent my childhood there, which gave me a rich mix of cultural experiences between two countries.
I'm a social and open-minded person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing ideas and traditions. I believe everyone has a story worth hearing and that every encounter is a chance to learn and grow.
I speak Arabic and English, and I'm still working on improving my English skills. I'm also learning Spanish and Italian because I love languages and how they connect people around the world.
I enjoy football, nature, music (especially hip hop and rap), walking, reading, and discovering new places and cultures. For me, traveling isn’t just about moving from place to place—it’s about human experience and cultural exchange.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I enjoy connecting with people, sharing cultures, and exchanging ideas and life experiences. Couchsurfing, for me, is a way to build real friendships across the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of hip hop and rap—artists like The Notorious B.I.G. really speak to me, especially his song Suicidal Thoughts. I also enjoy some classical music when I want to relax or think deeply.
As for books, I enjoy reading about history, culture, and motivation. I believe books can open your mind and give you strength, especially during hard times.
When it comes to movies, I like psychological thrillers, deep dramas, and anything that makes me think or feel something real. I also enjoy films that show different cultures and human stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living through the war in Libya as a child had a huge impact on my life. It made me realize how quickly life can change, and the importance of appreciating every moment of peace or safety. Despite the challenges of that time, the experience gave me the ability to adapt to difficulties and made me appreciate the simple things in life much more.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Arabic and share insights about Moroccan culture, traditions, and daily life. I'm also happy to show you local music, food, and places that tourists usually miss.
I'm always open to learning—whether it's a new word in your language, a recipe, or just your perspective on life. I'm especially interested in improving my English, Spanish, and Italian, so conversations in those languages are very welcome!
What I enjoy most is sharing real, honest conversations and meaningful experiences. Whether it’s stories, music, or simply walking through the city together, I believe the best memories come from the simple things.
