I am 31 year young Belgian woman from Ghent. I studied geography because I am interested in the relationship between humans and their natural environment. I love to travel and meet new people and cultures.

I am open-minded, easy going, love good (vegetarian) food and cats, willing to have deep conversations and meeting other people, experiences and cultures. I am also engaged to make the world a bit a better place. That's why I volunteer in some nature- and environment organisations in Belgium.

Besides that, I like to read, write, dance, learn, enjoy nature and enjoy music (and travelling of course - if you didn't know yet ;-) )

In recent years, I became more conscious about what I want in life, what is important to me and my health. I strive to find a balance between work, social activities and self care.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like connecting to other people to share stories, interests and their view on life. It's a great way to learn from each other! Let's have fun! This way, I wish to broaden my world view and to grow as a person.

I already have one couchsurfing experience back in 2018 in The Netherlands, was really fun! Too bad I haven't had any other CS experiences since then (so meanwhile, I deleted my account). But now, since I learned a lot about myself in recent years, I want to explore again, so I created again an account. In March 2024 I went to Switserland, which was a great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like quite some music genres, like folk, jazz, blues, electronic swing, latin, rock, ... I like reading books, fiction as well as non-fiction. Always looking for tips for great movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer work with street children in Nepal. That really was a life time experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Dutch, some things about our environment or capital cities in the world for the case you might be interested ;-) I can also share some yummy vegetarian and vegan recipies! :)
I also like having a good chat in a cosy café to share experiences and have nice conversations.

Small chat, deep conversations, having a nice time in a cosy café and maybe some Belgian chocolates ;-) For sure I also am happy to help cooking, doing the dishes or so. Let's meet, I am already excited!
