Über mich
Trying to hitchhike with low budget in Europe occasionally, want to travel to East Asia, MENA and Latin America later.
In the post-COVID world where individualism and conformism grows stronger, i try to discover new ways of thriving with community and intercultural dialogue.
I feel like you can meet with people that you would never meet otherwise when hitchhiking. For example, i once hitchhiked an illegal immigrant smuggler :D
I have a literary project about the ways individuals survival in a world, society, body and mind so hostile and foreign to them and the way they repress or satisfy their most inner desires. That's why when i travel i like to talk about how others live their life. What do you do for a living? What do you think about marriage? What do you search for in life? Please, talk and ramble as much as you want, i'll listen.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
There's not that much people in Trustroots, sadly :(

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I like Metal, European Classical (yes, please don't just say Classical music when you mean European Classical Music, its disrespectful to other civilizations) , Folk and Ottoman Classical Music.
Poetry is the main driving force of my life, i spesifically like diwan poetry, Nedim and Enderunlu Nazım are my favorites.
Regarding prose, there's so much to talk but i can say the books which affected me the most for ENG "Dubliners", "Name of the Rose", "The Magic Mountain" for TR "Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü", "Puslu Kıtalar Atlası", "Ago Paşa'nın Hatıratı"
I've spent first 18 years of my life reading philosophy, to Kant level. Finally, my studies led me to the conclusion that philosophy is worthless and useless and only works as a form of sophistry or thought exercise. (debate me, i'm at my element at debates) I like and agree with Wittgenstein a lot.
I used to not watch movies a lot, but i'm starting to change it. My favorite director is Akira Kurosawa so far and favorite movie is Seven Samurai.
