My name is jinho from South Korea. and I'm a college student in kookmin university. after retiring army duty, I start to travel around the world. especially EU. I can speak Korean well and English a little bit.
I love traveling. I want to make fun memories through couch surfing with you guys! Also I want to invite you guys to the korea. I will help you! Let's be friend

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the second day of my trip, and I met someone traveling through couch surfing at a hostel, so I did this
He recommended my travel style after listening to my travel style.
I like to meet people, learn from them, make friends and share my place, food culture and knowledge.
I think the advantage of travel is to meet many people and learn their insights indirectly (rather than sightseeing). And I think couch surfing is the best option for this. I want to meet you guys and make good memories in my early 20s traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to Justin Bieber and Daniel Caesar's songs. And I love hip hop, too. Please share your playlist if you are okay

As for movies, I like classic movies, things from the '60s to '80s.
like 'the good, the bad, and the ugly'

Genre doesn't really matter. I usually like didactic and action movies. My favorite movie is Goodwill Hunting and my favorite director is Quentin Tarantino.

When it comes to books, I usually read books on self-improvement, design, and novels. Until I recently came on a trip, I read stock books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think it's probably this trip. Actually, I've been living a regular life until now. Just academy and study. And even entering university.

I went to college and joined the military. Going to dmz was a pretty good experience. I can see the North Korean army. (I will tell you about this later.)

Anyway, after being discharged from the military, I came to Europe with the 10000$ that is given from nation when I'm discharged. All I brought is a laptop and a backpack for YouTube editing. This is all. It's really hard

I think it's really scary and nerve-racking to be alone in another country. I'm probably experiencing the biggest tension in my life right now.

For these reasons, I think this trip is one amazing thing I've done in my whole life

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching, learning and sharing. I think it's the essence of travel. I want to learn and teach and share language and culture with you and make this trip worthwhile.

I also want you to learn and share about yourself. I will share about myself honestly.

Aside from these, if you have any questions about my major or hobbies, feel free to ask! I'll let you know anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to share Korean culture with you. It's such a nice country that I can't tell you everything. As you know, Korea is famous for K-pop, food, drama, transportation, etc. Maybe what I can share with you is Korean food, K-pop, drama, and movie.
I'll ask my mom for a recipe. Let's go grocery shopping and cook together

And if you come to Korea later, I will let you know what Korea is like. Come to my house! I live in Seoul, so it is very easy to experience Korean culture.
