We are a family of five with kids ages 5, 14 and 17.

We love traveling and meeting and hosting travelers. We do not have a separat guest room but our youngest willingly moves in with us and offers his room to visitors. Before the oldest kids started school we sold everything and lived in a van for a year, traveling through Southern Europe and North Africa. Recently we have travelled to Israel/Palestine, Crete, Estland. Next on the list is Japan and we hope to go to Sweden for winter school break.

We live in Flensburg, rather central to the old harbor with a view of the fjord and the sun rise.

We love everything water (sea, ocean, lake, river) and enjoy swimming, sailing, supping and diving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love meeting travelers - either on the road or in our house. It's great to have friends all over and we love to cook together and sit for a meal and share stories and experiences.
