My name is Tobias and I come from Heilbronn, Germany. I love travelling and discovering new cultures. I usually stay in hostels when I'm travelling to meet new people and possibly make new friends.
But as I would also like to have more contact with locals, I registered here on the advice of a friend.
I like cooking, reading and being out in nature. I like art and new cultures and I recently started drawing. But I also like doing things with friends. Be it a trip together or a relaxed evening. I'm open to pretty much anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up here because I love meeting new people and I would like to benefit from the experiences of the locals. I'm sure the locals can give me insider tips that you won't find in any travel guide. I love to hear other people's travel stories. Life is too short to always stay in a hotel and have no contact with new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've experienced a lot on my travels so far. Be it the heavy rain in Thailand, which came unexpectedly, or how I got stuck in a ski lift because my rucksack got caught. But one unforgettable moment was my trip to Morocco. I was impressed by the new impressions at the markets and spent a night in a tent in the desert. The eight in the desert was extremely cold, but we sat around a campfire and listened to the music of the Berbers. Another highlight of this night was the starry sky, which I have rarely seen like this.
