About Me
UPDATE September 2024:
I’m currently moving and cannot host. I’ll be happy to answer you questions about the area and I’ll be back hosting once I find something suitable.
————————-
Hi I’m Dschonnie, I’m 22 years old and from Germany. I’ve been travelling for the past seven months with a friend. The remaining four months of my trip I will finish on my own. In the past we used his account for couchsurfing, now I started my own. I can’t wait to meet you ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When my travel partner introduced me to couchsurfing for the first time, we had so many really cool experiences that I now can’t imagine travelling without it. Once I’m back home I will definitely contribute my part and start hosting too.
Interests
Honestly, you can probably get me interested in almost everything. My biggest problem in life is that there is so much to do and discover that I fear I might be unable to try it all
- culture
- books
- wine
- coffee
- running
- mountaineering
- scuba diving
- skiing
- snowboarding
- languages
- mathematics
- gaming
- climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
A lot. But here are some favourites: The Matrix, triangle of sadness, Back to the future, Kill Bill, Inglorious basterds. I read a lot but two of my favorite fiction books are the three body problem series and Fahrenheit451. I’d love to discover new stuff though, so please share your favorites with me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled from Germany to Japan mostly by hitchhiking (had to take one flight unfortunately)
Teach, Learn, Share
I don’t have much to offer in that regard. I like to exchange recipes and cultural experiences. If you want to practice your elEnglish with me or learn some German, I am of course eager to help ;) Also, if you speak Russian or French, please teach me? (You have to have some patience though). Generally I am interested in almost everything, so I would love to share my hobbies and passions and learn about yours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I said, mainly languages and my time. If you’re into discussions then that’s great. I am too. If you’re into movies or culture, let’s go somewhere. You love coffee? Me too let’s grab some and talk about the world.
