One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my charity trip I chose to stay with a local family and was lucky enough to stay with Sally and her 7 children in The Gambia. From the beginning I felt like part of their family. They showed me their city, cooked with me and shared their life stories. Your warm hospitality and openness to other cultures changed my perspective on travel forever. Couchsurfing allows us to get to know people and their lifestyles. I will always carry this experience in my heart.
