About Me

Imagine a yoga-loving, apron-wearing comedian who's mastered the art of downward-facing dad jokes – that's me! As an Ashtangi, I bend over backward for balance, both on and off the mat. When I'm not contorting myself into pretzel shapes, you'll find me whipping up dishes that are as ironic as my sense of humor. I'm like a walking contradiction – serious about my practice, but never too serious about life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Let's face it, life's a lot like a potluck dinner – you bring your dish to share, and you get to taste a bit of everything. I'm here to dish out some hospitality, swap stories, and maybe even share a slice of my cheesy jokes with fellow travelers. Because what goes around, comes around (the full disclosure: I'm in need of some good karma points, so I'm paying it forward one couch at a time).

Music, Movies, and Books

While "Interstellar" tops my list (alongside Nolan's other mind-bending creations), I'm also a LOTR fanatic, a Star Wars nostalgist, and a Matrix believer.

When it comes to books, I'm a voracious reader with a penchant for historical novels that whisk me away to bygone eras. Yet, my inner nerd is never far behind, delving into technical tomes on everything from psychology, medicine and nutrition to Yoga, Space and existential philosophy – because who doesn't love a good crisis every now and then?

And music? It's in my genes – my DJ dad saw to that. While I can't pinpoint a single favourite genre, one thing's for certain – you won't catch any commercial tunes playing in my house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does surviving count?
Let's just say I've got a couple of stories that are better left off the internet – wouldn't want any future employers stumbling upon them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll show you the ropes of Ashtanga yoga and the secret ingredients to my infamous curry, while soaking up your tales of travels and trading laughs like a seasoned stand-up comedian. Oh, and as a side note, I've been itching to learn to play the drums, so if you've got any drumming skills to share, I'm all ears!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides my questionable yoga skills and a repertoire of dad jokes that could make a grown man groan, I'm always down to cook up a storm in the kitchen, share some groovy tunes, or swap stories under the stars. And hey, if you're brave enough to cuddle my black, fat, vampire-teeth cat, consider yourself initiated into the club! As for exploring the island, I've got insider tips that'll take your adventure to the next level. Just don't expect me to join you for Poncha if late in the night – the Ashtangi in me wakes up way too early to afford a hangover. I'd rather practice my way into sunrise than stumble through the morning with regrets.
