The idea of being a traveler is fascinating than being a tourist. I want to connect with the humanity of the local place rather than just by staying at hotels with a generic tourist template. I want to explore a place with someone who knows the steps they're taking. And vice versa while hosting. Couch surfing is a credible platform to work out these.

兴趣

A weekend car race fan who would not mind skipping it for mountain hiking. My motives for traveling are the cultural immersion that comes with it. I record and journal my travel memories through the local art and by writing poems of the scenes I lived through while backpacking.

Solo traveling to the hills and local villages of Uttarakhand impulsively. I connected with the native people and learned so much that doesn’t flow into the mainstream media. It was one of those "my life feels different now" trip for me. I was a traveler and not a tourist in those days. Saved so much by not taking a tourist template while going around the places.
