My name is Merly, but you can call me Mer or Merlita. I am 24 years old and I live in a small district in the city of Ica. I work as a preschool teacher and I love teaching, not just to children, but to everyone! Being a teacher and spending most of my day surrounded by children is very enriching, I have learned so much from them. They have taught me to have a more genuine perspective on life, to laugh, sing, enjoy, and to value each moment and the people who are part of my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing thanks to a dear friend, he and his family host people from different countries in their city. Hearing about his experiences and how enriching the cultural exchange is inspires me to consider having my family and I participate in the future. Although I am still young and have a long way to go, aspiring to do so fills me with excitement...I am captivated by the philosophy of this beautiful community✨
In addition, I am using Cs because I plan to travel to Europe the first week of June, visiting three cities in Spain and two in Portugal, I'm excited to find someone to join and support me on this trip

Interests

I love taking walks on the beach with my dog daughters, I'm a devoted dog lover! Starting my mornings by contemplating nature, feeling the breeze, and listening to the waves is one of my favorite activities. I enjoy singing, even if I'm not the best at it; it's incredibly relaxing. I also take pleasure in preparing healthy versions of homemade Peruvian meals. While I strive to eat healthily, I do indulge occasionally 🤭

Family time is precious to me. I enjoy having long conversations with my parents and siblings about life and future projects.
