About Me
Holahola,This is Nia from China.
ShaoXing is my hometown, not my name.😆
I was a television producer making variety shows for 4 years in Beijing, and I had participated in different kinds of shows, for example indie bands show.sketch comedian show and also debate show. I really loved my job and content will always be my passion. For now I’m try to make my own content as a freelancer. After all the years presenting other people’s stories, now I’m working on mine.
Now I am traveling around Latin America, it has been for almost 5 months and I love here soooo much. I started from Argentina and go all the way north. Now in Mexico.
After learning Spanish in Medellin for 1 month, so I can do some basic conversation in Spanish and I would love to practice more.
Also I love television shows and documentaries, as they tell stories to me. I always watching documentaries and shows before or when I visit that place. Recommend me some if you want!
My travel is about understanding the culture.history and people there. So I would like to meet different kinds of people and have good conversations. That’s why I’m here.
I love coffee.walking around and talking, and as I’m Chinese I almost eat everything but onions.garlic and Chinese onions. And don’t invite me to dance, but if you can take me to a live show in you city, please! I’m a big fan of indie&rock music and I would like to know different music scene in different places.
Meeting people is supernatural, I’ve made a lot of really good friends from CS, but I DO NOT consider here as a dating app.
Well nice to meet you then.🫶🏻💗🥰
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel I’d like to meet more about the local culture, but the culture is from the people there. It will be really abstract if I only go to museums and natural views without having conversations with its people.
I had great experiences with people I met on the road, even if that’s very short time and always limited , but there is connection and good memories I will never forget.
Staying in China and in a stable environment, there are less opportunities to meet different people. It seems like there is a certain way of being an good adult that I don’t really agree. But I don’t know what kind of lifestyle I would like to have in the future either. So I want to see the different possibilities of people live in their own way all over the world.
