About Me
Hello fellow travelers!
I'm Mahtabul Islam Uday, a passionate volunteer and dedicated community leader from Moulvibazar, Sylhet, Bangladesh. My life's journey has taken me through more than 24 districts in Bangladesh and across borders to Nepal and India. Now, I'm embarking on an exciting new adventure as a Volunteer Activity Instructor in London.
I founded a non-profit organization called Community United for Relief and Empowerment (CURE), where we focus on cyber safety, hygiene, and creating international volunteer networks. My passion for helping others and making a positive difference in the world drives everything I do.
When I'm not working or volunteering, you'll find me solo traveling, engaging in peace-building initiatives, or participating in environmental projects. I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures.
In terms of skills, I'm proficient in English, Bangla, and Hindi, and have a knack for public speaking, leadership, and event management. I also have experience as an IELTS instructor and editorial assistant, which has honed my ability to communicate effectively.
I'm excited to connect with the Couchsurfing community and share experiences, whether it's exploring new places together or simply enjoying a good conversation over a cup of tea. Let's create some unforgettable memories!
Feel free to reach out if you're in need of a host or just want to chat about travel and life.
Safe travels and see you on the road!

My Interests
I am deeply passionate about community service, travel, and cultural exchange. As the founder of Community United for Relief and Empowerment (CURE), I dedicate much of my time to initiatives focused on cyber safety, hygiene, and building international volunteer networks. Helping others and making a positive impact is at the core of my life’s mission.
Traveling is another one of my great loves. I've explored over 24 districts in Bangladesh and have taken memorable trips to Nepal and India. My travels have provided me with rich experiences and a profound appreciation for different cultures and ways of life. Whether it's solo backpacking adventures or participating in global peace summits, I cherish every opportunity to learn and grow through travel.
In addition to my volunteer work and travels, I enjoy engaging in environmental projects, public speaking, and event management. I'm also a language enthusiast, fluent in English, Bangla, and Hindi, which helps me connect with people from various backgrounds.
I am always eager to meet new people, share stories, and create lasting memories. Whether it's through hosting, being hosted, or simply exchanging travel tips and experiences, I look forward to connecting with fellow travelers and making new friends along the way.
