Hi everyone, we are Šárka and Kateřina. 👋🏼 We love to travel, meet new people, and discover new places and their hidden gems. As students, we are trying to travel on a low budget, and that’s one of the reasons why we created our Couchsurfing account. So we will very appreciate if you help us save some money by letting us stay on your couch. ☺️

Our love for traveling and especially for hiking started on the Way of St. James in Portugal. At that time we were 16 (Šárka) and 18 (Kateřina). From the first week we spent on the road, we knew that this would not be our last adventure together, so we decided to cross the Low Tatras on summer holidays. ⛰️

Of course, each of us has traveled a lot on our own, but it's always better together and we think that shared experiences are unforgettable. 🌍
Now, in July 2024, we plan to travel through Norway. 🇳🇴 We have about a month and a half and we want to experience, get to know, discover and taste as much as possible. We bought a plane tickets to Bergen ✈️ and we would like to continue through Stavanger, Oslo, Trondheim, Bodø to Lofoten. Crazy? Maybe… but this is our style. 🫶🏼We don't want to miss a single opportunity to experience something new and we will be grateful to meet someone new thanks to Couchsurfing. 🛋️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

why Couchsurfing? To save some money, of course, but mainly to meet new people and incredibly interesting souls. 🤍We love the idea that through couchsurfing you can find more than just a roof and warmth, we love that you can make here new friendships that are of incalculable value! We believe that what you give you also get and that is why we always try to spread only positive energy and if we can, we help hikers and actually anyone in need. We like to be inspired and we like to learn new things, because everything can come in handy one day. 🤭

Interests

We played beachvolleyball together for few years 🏐 and we really love to read (definitely different genres). We love hiking in the nature, ⛰️watching the sunset and sunrise. 🌄 We are really good (if we can say it like that) in deep talks. We are really spontaneous and we always see only the good part in the bad things. 🌞

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We completed The St. James Way together from Porto (Portugal 🇵🇹) to Santiago de Compostela (Spain 🇪🇸). We also thru-hiked the Low Tatras (Slovakia🇸🇰), and now we are preparing for our month-long trip in Norway 🇳🇴
