Halli Hallöchen, my name is Thaís, I was born in a small town in my beloved Brazil (close to Rio de Janeiro, yes! But unfortunately I don't have a carioca accent) and now I'm 25 years old and I'm adventuring around Europe for the next 2 years. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about Couchsurfing through a friend who had an amazing trip to Europe and she told me that she had met amazing people during that time, so I thought: well, I love meeting people, so why not try it this way?

I sometimes travel alone and sometimes with friends, but it seems that isolating myself in hotels and hostels is not a good way to get to know other cultures and show them my own, so I believe that I can build good friendships around the world through this special place for travelers.

Interests

I'm a big lover of photography and video editing, even though I'm not always creative with both, and I'm always online on Instagram (I know, I know), I love tattoos and piercings (I have 5 tattoos and 15 piercings) and I love collecting snow globes and country flags, I want to visit all of them, without exception, and try the most different foods of all (okay, maybe not all of them)...

I'm curious about languages, I'm always alternating between learning something here and there, and I don't follow football, but when I watch a game, the excitement flows naturally! I'm also a gym enthusiast and I have more plans for the future.

Tell me about car and motorcycle performances or anything and I'll be like a child, and oh, soon I hope to drive something cool on the Auto-Bahn, I'm a fan of the beach and sunny days, adventures (like bungee jumping) and when I give up being a nomad, I hope to have two cats and two Siberian huskies :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm so eclectic that I can change my musical style at a crazy speed! I don't watch horror movies alone and not even if I have to sleep alone afterwards, I'm a big fan of Brazilian music but I'm always listening to some pop.

I love romantic comedy and romance (believe me, my favorite saga is still Twilight) and I only read those fantasy novels that have no chance of being real (my favorite saga is A Court of Roses and Thorns and I've read it more than 15 times).

When I'm at the gym, I only listen to songs that are Brazilian montages and sound like game music and to concentrate, I only listen to Lo-Fi (have you tried it? It's amazing for concentration) and oh, sometimes I listen to rain noises to sleep :)

I'm currently alternating between watching Peaky Blinders and Dexter (I don't know why I started that series, but I like it) and despite that, I get bored easily.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I could say that I've traveled more than 200 kilometers by motorcycle in the mountainous region of my state in Brazil or that I love driving and testing how fast I can be in a car haha ​​but I think the most incredible thing I've done was leaving my country in search of knowing the world and landing in Europe to live 2 years as an exchange student, one year in Germany and the other only God knows haha.

It may be something simple, but it was the first time I flew (I know) and the first time I did something completely alone, it's not easy to be away from the people I love, but building a family here is something that can be considered incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could spend hours talking about my culture and my country (although I haven't been to many places) and I could easily show and teach you about our cuisine (visit Brazil and you'll understand when I say that this is the best food in the world!).

I would like to learn more about the culture of each place, learn how to swim, about the people and I want to master 5 languages ​​before I'm 30 (good luck to me who started straight with German).
