In June 2024, I left the corporate world and life as a teacher in the US in search of a more fulfilling and purposeful life. I'm in the process of joining the Peace Corps with an assignment in the Dominican Republic (this starts in March 2025). And I am also an aspiring PhD student and professor. My travels are helping me develop research topics that are anthropological or psych-based. Not only for research but as a person, I have a high interest in helping us figure out the best ways to live quality lives where we prioritize rest, leisure, meaningful relationships, and pleasure. Traveling across countries is also helping me see where I want to spend the 4/5 years of a program and how people of different regions live their best lives. I want to use this research to help inspire others to make the best of their lives no matter where they are. I think it’s important that we enjoy life as much as we can.

I love sharing time with dope people exploring new places, meeting people from diverse cultures, and sharing stories over tea or a meal. When I'm not traveling, I enjoy cooking for others, writing, watching shows or Marvel movies, catching up with my friends and relaxing.

As a guest, I'm respectful, tidy, easy-going, and ready to lend a hand. I enjoy exchanging stories, spiritual practices, and good conversation. If you want help practicing English, I also spent the last two years as an English reading and writing teacher, so I don’t have a problem helping there.
