About Me
Hey Im Jeremy, 19 years old and I live in Toronto
Since 2021 I´ve got this Idea to make a Work and Travel year through Canada after graduating from High School,
I traveled a lot in Europe before, and tried to train my personal skills with new people and friends. Which is why I took place in 2 Exchange students programs before. I like to make new friendships and find my place in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I will travel with a budget, my friend Youssef told me about Couchsurfing might be a great Idea to make connections in Canada to live through with a lot of new decisions and adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books
My Musical Journey took place in 2016 while moving on with german rap I discovered my passion to metalcore through my best friend William who brought me into this scene back then. The first metal track Ive listened to was "Unchosen - Artemis Rising" , from a small group of my hometown.
With that being said, I began listening to: Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria, The World Alive, Motionless in White, Slipknot, The Devil Wears Prada, Electric Callboy, Pierce The Veil, and Future Palace.
But also defining 2000s Rock was influencing me in big obstacles in my life especially Linking Park with Chester and Mike writing music about becoming a better version of yourself.
But the biggest Part of my Journey being left out by now, is for sure "Bad Omens" with their incredible new sound of soft pop and heavy metal breakdowns presenting in the album "The Death of Peace of Mind"
I know them since 2019 and left a big mark on my musical interest even seeing them develop in so many good ways is just awesome to share with the world. I saw them live here in Germany twice and their live performance were incredibly good.
But not everything has to be metal.
Im also a big fan of soft indie pop referring to bands like: Men I trust, beabadoobee, Clairo, girl in red, Cro which always left space for chill and sortable days in the past.
To sum up I love to listen to Music anywhere, in the bus, on my way home, in a car.
Just turn the volume up and enjoy the vibe :)
The only books that helped me develop myself were: "The Big Five for Life", "The Café on the edge of the World" by John Strelecky
One is about to never feel like going work again and to really find out why are we existing to what is our goal in life. The other one is more about giving a solution on sins of life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first exchange in middle school to Turkey was exciting, because we just started learning english and had no idea how our students would look like, but you cant tell the difference on how they must have felt too, probably just the same.
The first day were a little weird to be honest, because we landed in Istanbul at like 1 am midnight and we just stepped in their cars without knowing them at all. But this is just how an exchange should feel for me. At the beginning you are nervous because you dont know anyone but then starting to get really good friends in a short amount of time and then sadly you have to wave them goodby on their way home. You ll never know how people really are until you just keep trying, they can turn into very lovely person once you become friends with them.
Teach, Learn, Share
At this year I want to become a better version of myself. I tried to escape every problems in my life that exist, for example school or work which I spent a whole decade on. I would like to just settle down and take a break of all the things I was worried about, thats why im trying to visit a country all alone and fighting my way through it. I like challenging things but I dont like to start where it ended for example, after I graduated from Highschool most of the people go studying at university right away, and thats not a thing I want to experience again. To take more risk in life, traveling without knowing where you going, is a thing Im looking forward to try!
