About Me

I am the final year business student, currently on an exchange semester in Canada. In Vietnam, my focus is entrepreneurship and I have started some business and one in Canada in the last 2 months. I am curious and open minded, and I like talking to curious people. However, I’m allergic to bullshit. My style of travel is making connection with the local people, not the place.

I’ve spent 2 weeks in Thailand to learn about multiculturalism in ASEAN, 4 months in Saskatchewan to learn about Indigenous culture and build a small startup.

I’m into physics, cultures, astronomy, hiking, skiing, motorcycling, rock climbing, go chess and having meaningful conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting on Couchsurfing, I want to have interesting conversations with interesting people

Interests

I travel to be wiser, to learn new ways of living and thinking so that I can integrate it with myself. My only regret is that I couldn’t learn all the philosophy and wisdom from different cultures all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watched Interstellar 7 times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sneaking into the US Embassy to advocate for myself.

Motorcycle across Vietnam.

Working on a farm in a rural area to find inspiration for an agricultural startup in Vietnam.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know Vietnam better than anyone you could find. I actually learned more about the place I was born when I’m abroad. We can have conversation on my past adventures and what I learned from it, since I did my crazy things in my life. On top of that, I can cook authentic Vietnamese food and am eager to share it with the host. I hope we can have “pho” and talk about how the Vietnam war affected the way people eat it.
