Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To truly know the land you must have to know its people. I’m seeking to have a deep understanding of the places I travel to, and for that it’s imperative to meet a lot of people. I also like to have fun but that’s a given.

Interests

I have an absurd amount of callings and I am really open to increase that number. I love scuba diving, archery, doing treks, riding bikes, bushcraft, calisthenics…if it’s physical and interesting or involves nature, I’m all for it. Lately I’m really into ping-pong and climbing, but I’m not really proficient with any of it. Last year I started to learn how to play the drums and I LOVE IT, not a lot of rhythm in my blood tho. But not everything must be moving at all times, I can also spend the finest hours of the day reading a book or doomscrolling on Twitter or YouTube.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This trip is going straight to top 2, just below adopting my cats, but other than that, the year I was living in the Amazonas developing a camp and being food for mosquitoes was pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a journalist/wine maker/spanish teacher/whatever is needed to make a living, so I have plenty to teach. I’ve been living in prehistoric conditions in the Amazon rainforest so I’m somewhat handy with tools and plants. I can also cook a truly astounding Spanish omelette or fix your PC. Jack of all trades!

It doesn’t matter if you want someone to talk to and spend some time with or if you need help with anything. Want to learn some Spanish? Gotcha. You need help planting some tomatoes? Gotcha. Want to film a video? Gotcha. Need a buddy to ride your motorbike? Gotcha. To replace a bulb? You know the drill.
