Overview
About Me
Hello, I am a 25-year-old office worker living in Tokyo. I am originally from Chicago but have been living in Tokyo for 6 years. Me (left in picture) and my friend Nao Komada (right in picture) are travel buddies who are looking to go to new countries and learn and enjoy various cultures:)!
Hosting: unfortunately my current living space may not be ideal for hosting as I live in a one room Japanese apartment😅 But regardless as I do have an air mattress for guests, and am able to provide a sleeping space for someone who needs a place for the night. As I am in a small apartment I will only be accepting solo female travelers. If you are ok with sharing space with me I will be welcome to host you☺️. (As I will be away from Tokyo often because of work for the next few months it may be a bit difficult to allow guests but I will try if our dates align:) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having traveled to various countries, Me and Nao have joined Couchsurfing hoping to meet locals and people from various backgrounds to make new friends and learn about new cultures:) We would also love to share our Japanese culture as well:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I and Nao have traveled to Mongolia in February when it reached -36 degrees to go horse riding. Despite the freezing weather, we enjoyed a marvelous view:D
Teach, Learn, Share
We would like to learn about food, language and local sightseeing areas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
love to share some Japanese culture and language:)
Seira: love to cook so can teach some Japanese dishes. Also love to bake so can make some American baked goods:)
Nao: Good at Origami and can help you teach you to make some animals and cool origami crafts.
We can both also teach traditional Japanese games and give tips when travelling to Japan:)
About Hosting: Currently in Tokyo I may be able to host, but will only be accepting single female travellers as I live in a very small apartment
