I want to get to know the life behind the superficial tourism in a foreign country. Without having to leave again after visiting the "main attractions". A town or village has so much to offer that remains hidden from a tourist. Instead, I want to get to know the local people, learn a bit of the language and socialise. Couchsurfing offers me this opportunity. Generally speaking, being able to sleep with local people gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in the place: by staying with a local, you can copy the life of that person in that place bit by bit - the best restaurants, insider tips for festivals, insider tips for excursions and generally getting to know a person who grew up there and can introduce you to the place.

I am a very diverse person, in principle I like to try out all kinds of things. I particularly like things in nature: from hiking to climbing. But also trying out new things or exploring new places - cliff jumping in connection with nature comes to mind. But also relaxed things like cooking evenings, games evenings and so on - in other words, things where you're not constantly on the move.

In my summer vacation i visited my cousin in colombia, while she was traveling through with her backpack. I came back to school with the nicest experience i made to this point in my life. We only had our backpacks and saw so much of this wonderful country. This trip made me realize that this is exactly what i want to do

It depends on the chemistry, of course, but in principle I'm a very open person. I'm happy when we can talk about any topic that interests us and comes up. Be it in a café or on the terrace in the evening over a glass of wine. I also enjoy doing things together with people - be it a hike to a beautiful place in nature or going out together in the evening to a bar or club.
