Hi I'm Cathal,

I grew up in Ireland and so far have always lived in Ireland, although I'd like to try living somewhere different soon.
I have a love of nature that comes from growing up in a beautiful place, and I'm always trying to deepen my connection with the land.
I'm always up for new experiences and ideas, that's what travel is for after all!

Because I think it is such a cool way travelling and meeting people and I want to give it a go. I feel that you can get a more authentic experience by couch surfing compared with other options. If my accomodation situation is more suitable in future I would love to host many travellers.

Centres d'intérêt

Drumming and music has always been part of my life. I play a variety of different instruments, mainly percussive. I enjoy a variety of music including traditional Irish and world music, hip-hop, pop, jazz, and electronic stuff as well. Lighting I do as a job and it's something I love doing. I mainly have worked with theatrical lighting but also have done festivals and concerts.
Hiking and running are both things I love to do, and I like combining these to do some mountain running as well.
Carpentry I also do as a job, I fell in love with it in college and am hoping to get much better at it in the near future.

I'm very friendly and there are few people I don't get along with. I can help you cook, and if there are any instruments in the house I can have a go at playing them.
