About Me

My name is Gabriela, and I’m a passionate traveler who loves exploring new cultures. Together with my husband Kenzo, we’ve embraced travel as a way to experience life fully. Originally from Brazil, we spent nearly five years living in Australia, which deepened our love for diverse cultures.

As a chef, I see food as a bridge to connect with people and places. I enjoy creating delicious, waste-conscious meals that reflect the richness of each destination. For me, travel is about meaningful connections, shared stories, and unforgettable memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide range of music, but some of my favorites include pop and Brazilian music. When it comes to movies and series, I’m open to almost anything—I watch a lot and rarely come across something I don't like. For reading, I love to unwind with a light, feel-good romance novel; it’s my favorite way to relax and escape.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done was leaving my home country, Brazil, at the age of 22 to live and study in Australia for almost five years. It was a life-changing experience that challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, adapt to a new culture, and build a life in a foreign country.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can share my knowledge and skills as a chef. I also enjoy teaching people about Brazilian cuisine and the culture that comes with it. Additionally, I’m happy to teach anyone a bit of Portuguese if they’re interested!

Learn:
I'm eager to learn more about different cultures, cooking techniques, and sustainable living practices. Improving my Spanish is also a key goal for me as I continue to travel.

Share:
I love sharing stories, experiences, and, of course, delicious meals! I believe food is a universal language, and I’m excited to share my passion for cooking with others while exchanging cultural insights along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts
