Hey! I’m from Ecuador, and I’ve spent the last two years studying in the Netherlands. I love experiencing new cultures and meeting people with different backgrounds. I’m fluent in both Spanish and English and enjoy sharing my Latin American roots and culture, as well as travel experiences.

I’m passionate about the outdoors—hiking, trail running, bikepacking, and mountain biking are my go-tos for staying active and close to nature. When I’m not in outdoors, I’m probably getting lost in a good book, listening to new music, or experimenting with different cuisines in the kitchen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m passionate about traveling and love seeing the world through different perspectives. Couchsurfing, to me, is one of the best ways to truly connect with people beyond the typical tourist experience. I enjoy sharing stories, exchanging cultures, and having meaningful conversations with fellow travelers. For me, it’s all about creating genuine connections and finding joy in the company of new friends from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes are always evolving, so it’s hard to pin them down to specific categories. Right now, I’m diving into classic sci-fi and science communication books. Musically, I love exploring unique blends—especially Andean music mixed with electronic, rock, and other genres. When it comes to films, I’m into thrillers, historical dramas, documentaries, and indie films that offer something a bit different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last December I climbed the "Illiniza Norte" and "Carihuairazo" mountains in Ecuador, both above 5.000 m. Also, this summer I did my first bikepacking trip in the Netherlands riding around 400 km in five days, and also completed the Tour du Mount Blanc, hiking for eleven days in the Alps.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m always up for good conversations and exploring the city together. Whether it's a walk around town or a more adventurous outdoor activity like hiking or biking, I love sharing experiences with my hosts. I also enjoy cooking, so I’d be happy to prepare a meal together—especially if you’re interested in trying some Ecuadorian dishes! I’m easy-going and always willing to help out with anything needed during my stay, from tidying up to lending a hand with any tasks around the house.
