About Me
I'm an exchange student from Japan. I stay in Europe for 9 months until next June.
In the university, I mainly learn French.
I'm from Japan but my father is Chinese and my mother is Korean. Despite of that I can speak only Japanese as mother tangue😅 I used to live in Qind Dao in China for 3 years in my childhood, I've been to China and Korean over 10 times.
I like reading books, playing games, and listening to music. In my free time, I'm always searching for music on Spotify to find hidden gems from around the world.
I love studying foreign languages and am currently studying French for one year at a university in France. My final goal is to reach C1 level in French and B2 level in European Portuguese and Spanish by the time I graduate from university. In the future, I am thinking of working in a Latin cultural area.
What I like to do with hosts is talk about each other's cultures and discover things that they even don't know. I love sightseeing, but I also love finding things that most people don't pay attention to, but that I find fascinating. I hope that I can share that moment with the host.
This is my first time using Couchsurfing, so please bear with me as there are many things I don't understand.

Interests
My life is with music. I have loved singing since I was a child, but a few years ago I developed a strong interest in experimental music and folk music and have continued to explore them. What I'm most immersed in right now is techno.
The reason I wanted to study a foreign language was also because I love music. I'm currently studying French because I'm fascinated by the different sounds of foreign music, but I also plan to start studying Iberian Portuguese and Spanish in the future. I'm very excited about the cultural insight that studying the language will give me and the expansion of my musical world.
The other interest is philosophy. My area of interest is religious studies, especially Tibetan Buddhism and Catholicism. Although I am not a deeply religious person, I believe that the doctrines and history of individual religions contain hints of facts that transcend the framework of a particular religion and are universally applicable to humans in general. Currently, I am focusing on the theory of original sin.
