Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My highest priority is to talk to locals and hear people's stories. In Louisiana we value connection, stories, and joy.
I also wish to save money as the IB is a non-profit.

Interests

I moved to DC from Austin, TX 18 years ago to be a photo editor at National Geographic. Currently work for the International Baccalaureate making resources for teachers and students. Love being active as I used to be an athlete and want to return to more activity. I wander around the US and return to my home state of Louisiana often to do Cajun and zydeco dancing.
