My name is Beatriz, but you can call me Bea. I'm 27 years old and have been traveling as a nomad since 2024. Getting to know different realities, people, stories, and cultures inspires my journey and expands my possibilities for self-discovery and self-expression, enriching what I can give back to the world.

Nourishing myself and moving mindfully are important to me. I generally follow a vegetarian diet and love sharing good moments in the kitchen. I enjoy practicing physical activities connected with nature. I’m a rock climber, but I also really enjoy running, water sports, dancing, yoga, meditation, reading...

I graduated with a degree in Physical Education and Sports from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2022, and I have experience working with children, adults, and the elderly. I've also worked as a tour guide, kitchen assistant, receptionist, waitress, and bartender in bars, restaurants, and hotels. I’ve been volunteering since 2024. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

I'm currently traveling through Argentina.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main goal on Couchsurfing is to connect genuinely with people from different cultures and perspectives. I want to learn about you, from you, and with you. I also love discovering hidden spots that only local people know.

As a surfer, I’m veeeery flexible and pretty good at following house rules. My day-to-day depends on my mood, I’m not so attached to plans anymore. I can wake up early to go for a hike, explore the surroundings, and have a day of outdoor activity. But sometimes, I might just want to relax, meditate, and cook. So, it will be a pleasure to share moments together, but if that’s not possible, it’s totally fine — I believe that the exchange will happen in its own way.

I've been listening more to Brazilian (older) music and the songs that the travelers I meet share with me. I enjoy exploring many music genres.

Lately, I've been enjoying watching more documentaries.

I love reading. I enjoy genres like poetry, travel literature, philosophical fiction, and romance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Brazilian cuisine, dancing, language and share info about my culture and country.

I can share my time, positive energy, knowledge, and partnership in hiking, climbing, and other activities.

And I’m interested in developing new skills, so it will be a pleasure to learn everything you can teach me.
