About Me

Well, I’m Santi.
Something like a visual artist, a explorer, a restless mind always looking for meaning, beauty, and new ways to move forward.
With my camera and curiosity, I dive into cultures, landscapes, and human stories, not just to capture them, but to feel and understand them.
I’m the kind of person who loves a deep conversation as much as a random adventure. A bit of a philosopher, a bit of a dreamer, and always looking for new perspectives. I like connecting dots that don’t seem to match and finding doors where most people only see walls.
For me, the best part of any journey is the people I meet along the way. That spark you get from sharing stories, ideas, or even just a good tea.
If you’re up for connection, laughter, or simply exchanging a slice of life, we’ll probably get along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to connect with open minded people and experience each place I visit through genuine interactions and cultural exchanges. For me is all about creating authentic, meaningful connections rather than just passing through. I’m a visual artist who loves capturing the unique spirit of each destination, and I’m always excited to share my skills in photography, videography, and design or share some sport discipline topics. I also value the simplicity of sharing experiences and learning from locals and other travelers, which enriches my journey in ways no guidebook ever could.

Music, Movies, and Books

James Brown, Nina Simone, MJ, Seu Jorge, Fatoumata Diawara, Daffer Youssef, Ibrahim Malouf, Charles Aznavour, Booka Shade, John Mayer

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Kilimanjaro and watched the world open up beneath me. I crossed the Okavango Delta on foot for two hours with no protection, almost stepping on fresh lion tracks. I crossed the equator while sailing through the Gulf of Guinea, the world’s number one red zone for kidnappings. Felt tears of pure freedom while paragliding over the coast of Turkey, and once in Thailand I somehow ended up locked backstage in a hidden black-market room.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more languages like Arabic, Mandarin or Russian or only improving Spanish

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories from the road, from climbing mountains to crossing oceans and wandering through villages most maps forget. I can share laughter, curiosity, and good conversations that go from light jokes to deep questions about life. If you’re into photography or filmmaking, I can show you a few tricks, or just capture some moments for you to keep. Above all, I bring openness and respect.
