About Me
Hi, my name is Clément
I’m 21 years old and currently a student in an engineering school, pursuing a work-study program in the energy sector in Paris. I enjoy balancing my studies, work, and volunteer activities: I’m a member of EPMI’s EARTH, an association that takes action for the environment by organizing clean-up events and charity initiatives.
I’m an active, curious, and energetic person who’s always on the move! Sports are a big part of my life: I regularly practice strength training and running. I also love cycling, especially mountain biking, and swimming whenever I get the chance. I enjoy challenging myself while also sharing my passion for a healthy and dynamic lifestyle.
My interests are quite diverse:
- Motorsports, like motocross, which I find thrilling for the adrenaline they bring.
- Cooking, which is a true passion of mine! I enjoy preparing healthy dishes, but I can also indulge in making some delicious, hearty meals. Cooking for my friends or family is one of my favorite things to do.
- Mangas and Japanese culture, which inspire me with their creativity and captivating stories.
I’m always excited to meet new people, exchange cultural experiences, and, above all, improve my English. I enjoy conversations over a good meal, discovering local treasures, and sharing small everyday adventures.
I would be delighted to share a bit of my world with you, whether through conversations, a workout session, or cooking a French dish!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love the idea of sharing authentic moments with locals and discovering a culture beyond the typical tourist experience. For me, traveling is an opportunity to exchange, learn, and create connections.
Right now, my main goal is to improve my English while exploring new places. Couchsurfing allows me to step out of my comfort zone, practice the language daily, and discover a country through the eyes of its people. In return, I’d be happy to share a bit of my French culture, whether it’s by cooking for my host, exchanging ideas, or simply enjoying a meaningful human experience together.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don’t really have a specific preference when it comes to books, music, or movies. I enjoy exploring a bit of everything—whether it’s pop, funk, rap, or even country music. When it comes to reading, I’m equally happy with a crime novel, French literature, or a personal development book.
As for movies, I like all genres, but I have a slight preference for action films and those with a strong message. Right now, I’m reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, watching the series Prison Break with my girlfriend, and listening to The Cure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An extraordinary adventure I experienced was my first WWOOFing experience, about a year ago, in the Yorkshire region of England. I had the opportunity to meet an incredibly warm family who not only welcomed me with open arms but also shared their knowledge of permaculture. Working on their farm was an enriching experience, where I learned a lot about sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.
I also loved the Yorkshire region, with its stunning landscapes and charming villages. The group meals were a real highlight: not only were they delicious, but also always varied and made with local ingredients. This adventure left me with unforgettable memories and opened my eyes to alternative lifestyles
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d love to share a bit of French culture with my hosts, whether it's through food, history, or even local traditions. I'm also excited to share my knowledge in various areas, such as cooking, sports, or personal development. However, what I value most is learning from my hosts: their lifestyle, their passions, their preferences, and their stories. Every encounter is an opportunity to discover a new perspective and grow together.
