Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Shaik Ismail, 23 years old, and I'm passionate about exploring the world. My dream is to travel every state in India before venturing out to other countries. Traveling is not just a hobby for me—it's a way of life. Although I don’t have a lot of money for travel, I make it work by working as I travel, earning along the way, and exploring new places with every step I take. I truly believe that the journey is as important as the destination.
Right now, I'm focused on exploring India, and I love sharing my experiences with others. I also have a YouTube channel, Ide Naa Prapancham, where I document my travels and adventures.
I'm here on Couchsurfing to connect with like-minded people, experience local cultures, and make lifelong friendships. I hope to find hosts who share my passion for travel and can show me their part of the world, while I share my experiences in return!
Looking forward to meeting you and exchanging stories from the road!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet kind and open-minded people from different parts of the world. I’m not just traveling for sightseeing – I want to truly experience the local culture, food, and stories through real people.
As a solo traveler and content creator, I believe the most memorable moments come from genuine connections, not just tourist spots. Couchsurfing gives me a chance to learn from locals, share my own culture, and create beautiful travel memories that go beyond just a hotel stay.
I also love exchanging ideas, learning new ways of living, and building friendships along the way. Every place has a soul, and I believe hosts are the ones who help us truly understand it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I enjoy Indian music – from soulful Telugu melodies to travel vibes and lo-fi beats. I also love old classics and background scores that give a cinematic or peaceful feel, especially while editing my travel videos.
Movies:
I like movies that inspire travel and personal growth. Some of my favorites are:
Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani (pure travel inspiration)
The Motorcycle Diaries (a dream for every traveler)
Life of Pi (visually powerful and deep) I also enjoy Telugu films with good emotions and life lessons.
Books:
I mostly explore motivational and self-improvement content. I'm interested in travel stories, biographies, and books that expand my mindset and push me to grow. Even if I don't read many books, I love watching YouTube videos and documentaries that teach life lessons.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ne amazing thing I’ve done is starting my solo travel journey across India to explore every state and document it on my YouTube channel @Naaprayanam195, even though I started with no big audience or fancy gear. Just pure passion, curiosity, and a desire to share real experiences with Telugu-speaking people.
I’ve already traveled solo to places like Goa, captured historical forts, explored hidden gems, and shared stories that many people wouldn’t normally see. Every step of this journey has helped me grow as a person and connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach you basic Telugu, some cool Indian phrases, and give insights into South Indian culture. I can also share how I create travel videos for YouTube and how I’m building my channel step by step.
Learn:
I love learning about local culture, traditions, and everyday life in different parts of India. I'm curious to understand how people live in the mountains like Manali, and I’m always open to learning new skills, languages, or even recipes!
Share:
I’d love to share stories from my travels, show you how we celebrate festivals in Hyderabad, and maybe even cook or help with South Indian food if you’re interested. And of course, I’ll be happy to share positive vibes, respect, and good company.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories from my solo travels across India and give you a real look into South Indian (especially Telugu) culture. I’ll be happy to share travel tips, talk about how I create content for my YouTube channel (@Naaprayanam195), and even help if you’re curious about starting your own travel vlog.
If you're interested, I can also share about the festivals, traditions, and street food of Hyderabad. I can help you learn a few Telugu words, and if possible, I’d love to try cooking or helping with a South Indian dish.
More than anything, I bring a positive vibe, respectful attitude, and a curious mind – ready to listen, learn, and share good conversations.
