Hi! I’m Hema Kumar, a passionate learner, travel enthusiast, and technology-driven entrepreneur from India. With a strong background in technology management (M.Tech) and a career in product development, I’ve always been fascinated by how people, cultures, and ideas connect across borders.

I’m currently on a journey of exploration and connection, and I believe Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay—it’s about sharing stories, building global friendships, and understanding life through the lens of others. I love meeting locals, learning about their cultures, and exchanging knowledge about life, career, food, and more.

By profession, I work on edtech and student empowerment projects, and I’m building a unique brand called Bharat Vidyarthi, which helps students make smarter education choices. But beyond work, I deeply value authentic conversations, local traditions, and simple human kindness.
