Local from Taipei, Taiwan 🇹🇼 recently back from a solo backpacking trip across Europe.

I’ve come to realize that the moments that lit up my eyes were never the ones guided by maps, but the ones I walked into by surprise.
A street I wasn’t meant to take. A person I didn’t expect to meet. A moment of connection that didn’t need directions.

I’m always collecting small sparkles in my city, maybe over coffee, during a walk, or in a laugh with someone new.
Sometimes they’re unplanned, unfiltered, and quietly meaningful, shared with people just as they are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Almost ten years ago, I took my first solo trip and spent a month in Japan.
I watched cherry blossoms bloom and fall, biked around Mount Fuji, and met a friend who later visited Taiwan with her family, giving me the chance to host them in return.
That trip taught me that the most lasting souvenirs are the people you connect with.

What I Can Share with Hosts
